Given this was the BBC, green faces turned up with great regularity. Any more details?

Katy Manning's last episode, The Green Death. There's a theme here.

Are you perhaps referring to Daddy Dalek Davros?

The only time I bothered to watch the Doctor was in the late seventies when he had this side-kick from a prehistoric planet called Leila who wore a little animal-skin number. Ahhh...the seventies.

I always fancied Peri (Nicola Bryant)

I'm looking forward to the new Dr Who - this time Billy Piper is the assistant, although there seems to be a problem agreeing terms for the Daleks to return!

What do you mean by 'half cut'? As this was a sci-fi show there tended to be people with green faces in it quite a lot so clarification would help.
