Blunkett Admits 'Chav' Problem

I tuned into Channel 4 News tonight only to find that the government is now admitting that there is a 'Chav problem.' Yep, Blunkett 'n' Blair have, this very day, both been admitting to the Chav problem. They have recognised that it is a major concern of ordinary voters (unlike foxhunting and smoking in pubs), and, as you might expect, have now vowed a series of airy-fairy 'initiatives' to deal with it. They also concluded that the problem stems from over permissive social policy dating back to the 60's! So, I guess there were perusing Officer Dibble's bgafd reports over the weekend!
There was also a 'Chav' article in the Sunday Times yesterday. Apparently, the pretentious middle classes are going off the Chavs big-time, (it was always a one-way affair anyway) and not seeing them as being cool anymore. Amazingly, the anti-Chav charge was apparently being led by a Guardian journalist in the left of centre rag last week, who it was reported, pronounced Chav icon Wayne Rooney and 'Chavism' in general, as about as cool as a glowing ember. He went on to conclude that nowadays you have to be black or gay to curry favour with the chattering classes.

Yeah , It was front page , and an in depth in the Obserer on Sunday so the chattering classes have caught up with where the forum was 6 months ago . The slant was still it's all society's fault so we can expect loads of our money to be thrown at it to even less effect so it may be another 8 years before they catch up, with where we are today.
Sorry for the fog index in that sentence .

Making it up? Making it up?... Officer Dibble the ?Mr Integrity? of smut? Officer Dibble the pillar of porno probity? Officer Dibble the vigilante of veracity? Making it up? Pah!.. Sir, rarely have I been affronted with such a ludicrous slur on my untarnished reputation as Britain?s foremost, and indeed, finest porno peeler. It is a rare occasion indeed that I would dignify such a slander with a response. However, I feel the matter is of such weight and imperative that it must be addressed. I therefore direct my fellow forumites to these virtual broadsheets where the truth shall be laid bare, and consequently my unparalleled reputation yet further enhanced. Read ?em and weep.
Sorted.

No, your wrong again Mart, the officer is anything but a troll, he is Britian,s most savvy (not chavvy) peeler, with his finger on the pulse of the scourge of society ie: chavism.
A particularly nasty form of sportswear wearing, baseball cap donning, trainer trash oik, who spits and swears anywhere for no good reason, who also breed with each other, and produce mini-chavs, who grow up with just one of their chavy parents (the other one bieng in prison) or swallowing huge amounts of the welfare benefit drug living in a rent free house with someone else.
Well! ta-fuck with them, I fucking hate the bastards, and spit on them from the window of my Beemer, which I paid good hard earned cash for!
In my view all cheap nylon sportswear should be banned, unless you are actually a sportsman, put chavs in suits, and give them something constructive to do, like...........................er, topping themselves.

Those links to the chav articles were interesting but I must beg to differ on the quote about more people being able to quote from "The Office" than from Shakespeare being an indicator of Chavism. I can't imagine a group of Chavs enjoying an episode of "The Office" any more than I can imagine Chavs enjoying Chaucer.
Go on, do the funny dance (yawn)....

Id've thought the capacity to quote from 'The Office' rather than Shakespeare was more middle-class than anything else.
Chavs vs Yobs

Exactly. Aside from the typical Chav dress, basically caps, what is the difference between chavs and what used to be referred to as "Yobs?" We've always had yobs but I've only heard of chavs in the last few months.
