as much as i hate him you have gotta admire him.he's worth over ?500 million his house is worth ?10 mil.his internet venture has 975000 members and made ?4.5 mil last year and roldvale his sex shop group made ?5 mil on a turnover of ?6.8 mil.

it seems to me he is always one step ahead of the game,he's sold all his mags just as that market slows down.he got the first sex phone lines and was the first to explore making money out of internet ventures.he bought the private shops and enjoys a monopoly in this sector.his marketing is some of the best i have seen it promises the world and you get nowt, what you gonna do sue him.

he pays people peanuts and yet he is the daddy of the uk sex industry.

if he was my employer i'd tell him to stick it,so why do so many people in the industry still deal with him and promote his shops?

you know who you are,and the excuse of working from the inside is not acceptable to the zasuna.

pub carpark anytime you want

You admire him because he's got a lot of money?
People who have lots of money ususally acquire it by behaving like complete shitbags.
If we valued honsty and integrity, compassion and humour more, we might not be in such a God-awful mess.

Lets be honest you could only be pissed of with yourself for being a wally and falling for a scam ,in fact i think dave sullivan is a great guy ,how many of you lot would do what he has done if you could have ?500,000000 and no one has dragged you to his shops screaming no one has held a gun to your head whilst buying the daily sport ...no one has tortured you into lashing out for one of his magazines ,if it wasnt for mr sullivan we might not have the level of r18 we have now ,and i think this is an old subject on this forum if you have a vendetta against this guy put his picture on the wall and throw darts at it ,but dont be sour because you never read the small print ...
mr nice guy .....

BOLLOCKS! The whole point is there is not any smallprint to read! His adverts have for as long as I remember contained blatent LIES about non-existent loopholes in the law and so forth. Even using a dutch PO box in a vain attempt to imitate a supplier of real hardcore. Unless your a seasoned veteran with an eye for a scam you would not be aware that the flyers were from him apart from the Kent or Essex postmark. He was sending out mailshots saying "porn now legalised" years before it was and if you ignored those mailshots he tried another scam such as pretending to be a dutch company and that is FRAUDULENT. He never sold hardcore until r18 came in. Its THEFT pure and simple. I agree that with the Spurt you buy what you see but the same cannot said for his mailorder outfits.

Nice guy,
You are missing the point
Even I admire anyone who can make ?50m-not?500!
It's HOW you do it.
It's HOW you continue
Without knowledge of the insider trading involved in the R18 ruling, I cannot comment. However, I DO know that without the pressure created by TV documentaries featuring Phil Mc, Ben, myself and others, the BBFC would have remained the same.
As a Sullivan fan, I suggest you look into the background of your hero. I speak with 40yrs of knowledge in this biz.
Even I cannot fight ?M50 head on, but I can and will chip away.
I did it once to him and will continue-he is restricting my trade-and that of others.
Get your facts right when defending your hero

I find it interesting that this and several other recent provocative posts on the subject of piracy have all come via btopenworld.
