Porn shops in the north

Has anyone in the north used the Friargate Adult Entertainment Centre in Preston. What is it like for choice and prices. I'm keento find a good outlet up here (based in manchester). Tried the Private shop in central manc las year. ?40 for a R18 private video - when i was leaving i got he usual hard sell and was told that the videos in london for ?20 were copies!! Unfortunately i can't get t london as often now! Any recommendations welcome

Juat stay well clear of Oldham Street. Sex shop central it may be, but it's also rip of central. Tapes are labelled incorrectly, false claims are made about content etc etc. I bought a tape for ?50 a few years ago only to get home and find out it was a poor quality recording of something Channel 5 could easily show. Never again.

Pulse & Cocktails (one shop) just off junction 33 on the M1 near Rotherham are very good and dont give you the hard sell.
R18's dvd's and vids are ?35 or ?49 for 2 but they exchange them (within a fortnight of the 1st purchase)for just a tenner.
Its aimed at couples, so there are female staff as well as males and its about as far away from "seedy soho" as you can get.

Wouldnt touch the ones in Preston with a barge pole. There is a very expensive one in Bolton town centre that have XXX poor qual copies but they like to fleece u ?40-50 sale or approx ?25 for rent and return.
Pulse in Rotherham is refreshing but dont do XXX.
There is a shop in Liverpool with loads of XXX for rasonable prices - give me email if u want details or y not just buy from people like your choice, new view, HCC as they are pretty damn good.

Hi,
A shop in Bury (41 Bolton Road, I think - see Melon Farmers) has just been given a licence, but I have no idea of prices. Also, Nice and Naughty next to Chester station is worth a visit. Female staff and clear prices - ?30 for video, ?35 for DVD with ?10 exchange.

Nice and Naughty are cool people they are up for various licences in the area including a trade warehouse licence.
