Funky axeman Rick James died in LA today, pity he was marketed ala 'the new' Hendrix, always a sad day when a musician dies, regardless of their ability or whether they were world-famous or not.

just read about him on yahoo apparently he wasnt a very nice person beat up people with his girlfriend forced a woman to do oral sex on her etc,

Stop yer bullshit Illinois, as a *newly qualified* plumber, Im sure my family and friends would be upset if I died, but my post wa aimed at passing musicians who are in everyones lives with their music.
