Model Agency/New Goverment Rule

Just had the most strangest request by a well known model and promotions agency.So strange there the only agency who approached asking for my passport and Driving Licence to coinside with New Goverment laws and rules,There sent it by email with a list of promotions job for next weeks but in email there saying there want all models that's signed to the agency to pass there details on the agency for future work from 30th August onwards(There got over possibly 1000 promo models with the company,)But i cannot understand why though because no other Fashion or Promotions agency has asked for this A few of them haven't a clue what i was banging on about.
The problem with this agency is there have that many europeans and Asian staff come over and students and do temp work.(Mind you i not sent it yet i awaiting to hear if any other models who signed up to agency also had this email as i know a couple of models who uses this site are signed up to agency who sometimes do Promo stuff)
I haven't named it because it might get edited by MODS(But its not really slagging it off,i just want to know if any other model had the same email as me and have there sent there personal details to them and is it Legite,i have phoned up agency but there just send its a new thing which the Goverment has approached so there not really helpful,Makes me wonder if there hiding something or not the models something)
before anyone asks(NO there don't deal or have any involvement whatsoever in Adult work,There do the occasion glamour promos work like Maxpower shows but that's really about it)

Before i forget is any other agency Abiding buy this Goverment Law or been approached about it or is it just this one agency.
