Is he dead? I cant remember, anyway I was just listening to him singing in my car, and a thought struck me, Tony Bennett has a much better voice.
Right, I,d better go and peel some grapes.

I always thought he was a good talker not singer

I agree vocally he's a bit limited but then CROONING allows you to get away with that

cheers

PS If he's singing in your car I'd assume he's alive...if you'd stop with that flatulence act you'd be able to smell it if he were dead...you know it makes sense

A nasty cunt all said and done. Him and the other wankers in the Rat Pack were cunts and spoke to Sammy Davis like he was shit on their shoes, despite the fact Sammy had more talent than the rest of them put together.
Sinatra used to beat showgirls and hookers about, thought he was bigger than anything whilst all the time, terrified of losing his hair and sex appeal. The crooner in Godfather who asked Don Corleone to get him a film part is loosley based on Frank Sinatra.

Frank Sinatra always said Tony Bennett was his favorite singer.

Better singer or not, I enjoy listening to Frank Sinatra far more
than listening to Tony Bennett.

Sinatra's a much better actor than singer, which has the result of maximising the effect of his (no-more-than-average) voice.
It's a little like coloratura sopranos, who are often technically inferior but dramatically superior, and thus better to watch- but you wouldn't buy their recordings.
