Edison DID invent some of the most important inventions of all time tho, thats undeniable...Dont forget Alexander Graham Bell didnt invent the telephone either, he was just working in the patents office when it was registered and nicked it.

edison recorded sound, invented the ticker tape machine etc...loads and loads of important stuff
