Whether it'll feature I can't say, but one of the best ads campaigns I've ever seen was for army recruitment a few years back: each scenario played on your preconceptions quite brilliantly, and made joining the army look smart and sussed.

Last night, however, I saw an ad for the Royal Navy that made it look as if you'd be in a real-life Tom Clancy novel if you joined up. Utter tosh.

Loved the "dangerous waters" public info film as well---League Of Gentlemen members saying it had them shitting themselves.

A lot of the Irn Bru ones are superb. My favourite is the 50s family around the piano, and the shock at Mum's confession.

The pensioner ramraider is another classic.

For some reason, I liked the early Tango ads, before people started complaining about folk slapping them about the face. Quite surreal.
