Tonight a bizzare thing happened, Ms Lizard forgot to visit Fortnum,s, so we were clean out of 'pate de foi gras' and not a haunch of Venison in sight, so in desperation Ms Liz was despatched to the Larder room, only to come back with a meal fit for a king! this was 'London Grill' on wholemeal toast!!!, I know what your thinking, 'Lizard, you common trailer park trash oik', but I actually enjoyed it!, of course it can never leave the confine,s of the O/T forum, otherwise one would be a laughing stock in the Lodge, but dont knock it till you have tried it, who would have believed 'commoners' food could be so tasty, I may even visit the village 'pub' tonight instead of my club, I quite like this commoner stuff....... bring it on you dudes, what!

I had baked beans on my wholemeal bread topped with chocolate sultanas & almonds

One day I'll work the Vegemite into it but then that would might make it a recipe and we can't have that
