I went to school with 2 guys that had the bodies to star in mr Puniverse(thats being generous) and the looks of Mr Magoo & Marty Feldman

Yet they still attracted girls like flies to rotten fruit

All down to acting being/acting confident no matter what came their way...so they said.....Honest

Reg Varney was in his 50's when that show was made.... which makes it all the more bizarre! Can you imagine a show being now about the exploits of 2 middle-aged blokes leching after "crumpet"....
...apart from Shanasty & Muttley that is!

If only he'd been born 40 years later, Reg would have been the obvious choice to star in the David Sullivan Story.

I doubt VERY MUCH if Sullivan knows what a bus looks like inside.
