Half time, Scotland ONE (that's Scotland FC, not Scotland Nil, as some people think they're called), and Spain NIL. It's not the prospect of winning that's doing me in, it's the dreadful, merciless 'hope' that Scotland keep filling me with. Why, oh why must my national team be so shite?! I. Just. Can't. Take. It. Any. More. Can't. Take. The. Hope.
The doctor's just been in and done my blood pressure, topped off the Lagavulin IV drip and left a loaded Glock by my chair. Let the Spanish revival commence!

I know exactly what you mean, 1-1 and I am going to bed, not prepared to wait till they lose the game in the last five minutes. Shame to think how far we have fallen, Look who Reyes compared us with this week. Can?t blame the manager, just 30 years of benign neglect by the Scottish FA is the problem. No real players coming through apart from Fletcher and McFadden .Shame at times I could cry but mostly just F*UK it and have another beer.

What DID happen to all those great Scottish players?
Where's the next Dalglish, Wark, Hansen, Burley, Brazil, Jordan, Rough etc.?
Maybe the junior jocks need to get off the smack and deep-fried mars bars and get out on the footy pitch!

In fact beating Holland in 78 would be about the only highlight...lol
