Old ITV Idents

Just been on the fantastic
www.tv-ark.org.uk where you can download all sorts of old clips.
All the old regional idents that used to come on before ITV programmes, some of those were excellent.
I reckon the best 2 were the Thames and ATV ones, the 70's LWT and HTV animations are also top.
A damn sight preferable to some d-list celeb muppeting about like the current generic ITV idents.

You might as well say why bother buying manure when you can pick it off from pavement.
ITV is shite. The BBC might be dumbing down, but it would need to have its brain removed, pushed into a food mixer and liquidised, and it would still be several hundred IQ points above ITV.
And Michelle is right about those celeb links. That talentless tosser Skinner girning away for all he's worth is the worst.
