Genius or twat?
Just thought I'd throw this one at ya lads.
Personally I thought the first album was a classy, original record. But what's gone wrong with this new one? Not sure if he's the Brummie Eminem, or Pam Ayres with a Casio.

Whoever alleged that you were stuck in 1976 Steve (that would be Ace then) was absolutely right.
The Frank Skinner connection doesn't help his case. Both he and David Baddiel deserve to be flayed alive.

The typical modern musician:
No discernable musical talent, just using other peopls backing music tracks to er "rap" (talk) about life over the top in some social commentary way, apparently.
Vastly overrated considering he theres no singing on his part, in fact the terms poet is probably too good for him but thats basically all he is...a lyric/word writer. Not a fucking musician.
Did you see that article on being "sued" (publicity stunt i thought) for using the backing track for Dry Your Eyes Mate (or whatever it was called) when it revealed he bought the backing music from an "industry available CD given to artists for use on songs" how fucking lazy?!
As for someone I will genuinely promote...ESTELLE....shes very talented but seems a bit of a wannabe US hoochie. Her first single 1980 was excellent lyrically....her second single Free has been on repeat for me for a week or so because its v.70s and funky.....the guitars familiar tho ?
