May I lighten the mood briefly please?

Guys, when it comes to the irritant-factor, which of these sub-species gets the gong? Is it the Chav or the Crusty?

The definition of crusty- (feel free to improve on this): Dibble's 'anti-globalisation nutmeg'; often found sporting dreads; fond of pseudo-anarchism, mostly middle-class, if employed (rare) then engaged in thoroughly worthy pursuits; almost exclusively vegan, etc. Your 'eco-warrior' types. Generally found vandalising statues of Churchill or ripping up Parliament Square.

Personally, and this is a close-run thing, I find the self-righteousness and general dirtiness of crusties even more irritating than your common-or-garden cap-toting Chav.

I prefer chavs over crusties. Chavs are a laugh in small doses, Crusties sound like my idea of hell although I do quite like "The Levellers!"

Hmm. Tough choice. Chances are one group's liable to be too stoned to rob you, while the other may well be hopped up on Diamond White and decide that you look well worth mugging!

I personally find chavs more annoying.

Funny story for you, one of my models was working at Max Power (Or Chav land) when one guy proceeded to touch her up in front of his mates, she told him to fuck off and punched him in the face, he wasnt so gobby after that I can tell you.

Come on Illinois ....your views on the chav vs crusty debate, it's a bit like Alien vs Predator! There must be a sizeable crusty contingent to rival the chav hordes in Ipswich?

There's nothing quite so delicious as watching someone trying to impress their mates with offensive behaviour---and ending up being slapped down like a ginger stepchild.

Apart from the fact that they smell and, despite claims of being alternative they all manage to look the same, I'm not bothered by crusties.

Chavs are poisonous scum who need to be exterminated.
