Hi there

From this question - which no doubt will have been asked before - can any of you answer me this?

When you go onto a webpage and its full of thumbnail pictures which you have to click on to see the full size version and then if you like a picture you can click save picture. Without clicking to full size you can click save target as.

Is there anyway you can save the entire webpage then extract and view and save the full size pictures at a later date? If so what software do you need?

Sorry if this a daft question!

Thanks in advance for any help/advice you can give me

Smithy

Yes you can save the entire web page, it will be broken up into the main folder, then the coding (html) jpegs, gif,s whatever, open the page in an editor, say front page etc, and save the photos, to another file, but remember the photo,s are usually copyrighted so dont spread them about.

I assume thats a downloader ID. But to be more specific in answering the initial Q. you have to download, not just the page full of thumbnails but also the full size pics. But a downloader does that.

Without getting too technical, most (if not all) downloaders that strip the content from a website can be tweaked. You can choose to download files above or below a certain size, of a certain type etc.

but webmasters can also stop you from using them so dont expect it to work on every site

Used the 30 day trial version of express webpicturesand it worked great. It was also the easiest to you use out the ones I tried and it even downloaded mpegs at the same time as jpegs

If you bought it from this site do you pay and then download the full working version or do they email it to you?

Not bought any software over the net before so any help or advice would be most helpful

Thanks

Doesn't the site tell you? Buying varies, sometimes you get sent a key which you then plug in.
