The Class Thing

Going off at a slight tangent from the hunting stuff, so a new thread.

If, as Illiniosblue suggests, our main objection to foxhunting is that it's a class thing, then why aren't we busily picketing polo matches and the Pony Club, or sabotaging the Badminton Three Day Event? It's barbaric and unnecessary. If a fox is a pest, you can always shoot it (although someone managed to even bollocks that up this week).

The whole purpose to fox hunting is to give people the chance to dress up, ride wildly around the countryside with a pack of hounds and, most importantly, get their jollies watching an animal being ripped apart. The fact that this activity is termed a sport, and that the inbred mutants and their sycophantic friends believe that Reynard has a sporting chance of escape, just proves what a brainless bunch of twats they are.

Yours, a carnivorous townie.

Couldn't have said it better.
Well actually I could but I don't want to upset you.....or get deleted.

Of course not.

Just sorry I missed watching the coverage of the stooshie in London. It would have been nice to cheer the boys in blue on :-)

I wish I had remembered this.
I would have been there with a deckchair, 3litre bottle of coke & some popcorn.
It would have been like WWF for real.

But if you try to debate the subject with them, it's usually the withering, "Ah, we wouldn't expect town people to understand."

It's a country tradition, I suppose.

Off to watch the news. Have fun, lads.

Out where I live there are numerous hunts and although I'm firmly in the rural rather than town camp on a lot of issues these hunting pricks make me want to puke my guts up. If it's any consolation they are wholly useless at actually catching foxes, I know where a load of foxes live and these pricks never get anywhere near them. I had a fox in my garden recently which gave my dog something to get excited about, they are awesome animals and really beautiful at close quarters. Why on earth someone can derive pleasure from killing animals is quite beyond me, tossers.

I missed the news coverage of the bother in London as I was out gigging but I'll buy a paper tomorrow!
