Went on it yesterday when visited London.
I admit, I was nervous and didn't enjoy it, especially with the cross winds. Spent 20 minutes looking at the floor instead of the view.

If I ever visit London, I'll be sure to go on the Eye---even though I'm shit scared of heights. Sounds like you were unlucky with the weather conditions, Ace.

A seriously dumb friend of mine went to Calais on the train and wanted to know if he could get a window seat. No, I'm not kidding.

So if you manage to get a shag at the top do they call it a poke in the eye?

There is an upside down bunjy jump here in Wellington. The seat holds 3 people and as well as bouncing up and down from street level it turns over. No I havn't tried it.
