what was your first car?

came across an old pic this morning of my first car, a mk 1 lotus cortina, it was taken at motney hill in Rainham in 1976, I paid 200 quid for that motor and destroyed it on a rainy night in Northfleet, that car was the fucking nuts, wish i could find one again, it was kind of like the Sierra Cosworth of its day, I bet there are probably only a few left now.
funny enough I got an E30 M3 now and it has this kind of hooligan thing about it that in a strange way reminds me of the halcyon days of my old Lotus......
