Is this being shown on UK television?
You're not missing much to be honest.
I'd say Kerry is slightly ahead on points at the moment, Bush keeps stuttering and pausing, he doesn't look confident at all.

It's being shown, I think, but it's not something that I fancied watching. The Democrats couldn't have picked a less inspiring candidate if they'd really tried.

It takes a lot to make Bush seem charismatic but Kerry manages it so very well.
The opinion polls here all have Bush between 5 and 10 points ahead in the race so, if they're accurate, another four years beckons.

They had the opportunity to choose someone that stood for something, but instead went for the husband of the Heinz heiress and the owner of a dodgy $500 haircut. A tailor's dummy would have exuded more charisma and style.

One can never reach a closed mind, and boy yours is slamed tight. Another 4 years of Bush, shoot me now, please.

...and here we appear to be hurtling towards another four years under the dictatorship of the most transparent, phony, insincere "everyman" tyrant ever. Even Orwell didn't predict Blair.

OK Bimmercat, I'll ask you politely.
Who would be your choice? And , for that matter, do you distinguish between the 2 parties?

Theres only 1 problem with Bush(besides being a puppet)....he thinks he's doing gods work so when he decides to pull the trigger ie IRAQ....even after being proven wrong again and again he still thinks he was right-sounds kind of like a fanatic.....a very dangerous man IMHO
If I were a yank I'd vote against him simply for that
Afghanistan...justified in the war on terror
Iraq....biggest mistake the worlds seen for a long long time
cheers
