Image Download Help Please

Hi, I am having a problem , If I right click on a image and 'save as' if it is a Jpeg then everything is fine . Sometimes however I get the choice between Art or Bmp,and when I save these then I am unable to open them either in My Docs or Via Adobe or Jasc . Now I am running Windows Pro and the other software is Office 2000 Pro. Can someone tell me how to sort this out please.

Convert them to Jpegs
I've never bothered so can't really tell you which software is best for the job

Both those file types should open automatically with InternetExplorer.
Perhaps something has gone wrong with your file associations. Try this little cure, look for the file association thingy under Utilities.

Are you running AOL? If you are, click Customise then Preferences then select Internet, when the window pops up with all the icons. Click on Web Graphics and select NEVER COMPRESS GRAPHICS.
That should fix the problem.
If you're not on AOL, ignore all that
