Yes, it was top. As was "Edge Of Darkness" which I found on DVD.

It also starred Lindsay (luminous) Duncan and a fine looking young filly called Leonie Mellinger (spelling), who also seems to have vanished.

Wasn't the great and late Bob Peck in it as well or was that something else as i remember a good fight scene with him and Lawson in a hotel room near the end of the final episode. Dennis Lawson was in the original Star wars films and his nephew Ewan McGregor is in the prequels.

i think you're referring to
'natural lies' - an incredibly prescient drama about the food industry which pretty much predicted the whole mad cow debacle a few years before it happened. another terrific performance from bob peck and somewhat underrated at the time of it's showing. i sent a request to uk gold a couple of years back asking that they rerun it but afaik, they never have done.
