All News is Biased to a certain degree....Big Channels are Big Business so you wouldn't expect anything less be they left or right slanted

The one we get in OZ...The Jim Lehrer News Hour seems to be pretty balanced

You get views from left & right columnists & experts and are left to make up your own mind

Fox seems to have taken the stance our view is it and the rest can go whistle dixie which is fine if you were evn presenting the otherside of the argument so viewers can make informed decisions.....For some reason this has their ratings skyrocketing...says a lot about who's watching the Channel than the actual Show itself

I watched a recent Documentary on Fox News and there were more than a handful of occasions where the Anchor just told the Techs to pull the guests mike because they disagreed with him...thats just pure baloney IMHO

The most damning commnets came from a few ex-journalists who said they were told what slant their stories should take regardless of the facts

Have a read of Al Franken's "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them" for more on the lovely people at Fox. Good investigation (by a liberal, admittedly, who had 12 Harvard researchers) into the allegations of left-wing bias in the news media in the US. And it's funnier than Michael Moore, too.

Most News tends to have its own Political agenda unfortunately

One should never lose sight that at the end of the day all they're interested in is selling papers

Why the left slant in the vast majority of reporting?

Tall Poppies seemingly doing the wrong thing are the easiest to sensationalise and this sells the most papers

"Executives get Bonus while Corporation posts record Loss"

All of a sudden anybody wearing a suit is a "Pig with his/her snout in the trough"....balanced reporting...Hardly

For every Enron,Wall Street Rogue or Duplicitious Accounting Firm there are 10 fold of normal small,medium & large Businesses going about their business employing millions with little or no reporting

As they say BAD NEWS SELLS,Good news doesn't rate
