The term is predominantly British, a 'cottage' being a small free-standing building housing public toilets, though it is occasionally used in other parts of the world. Not a pretty picture.....turned up in emergency last tuesday attached to an unknown gentleman and explained it as an accident that occured while hoovering in the nude
