Premiership footballers should earn no more than three
grand a week tops, most of them are too thick to
appreciate how fortunate they are, when there are other
people who really deserve a pay rise, anyway there all
cunts.
The biggest mugs of the lot, are the poor punters who fork
out huge enterance fees every week to watch piss poor
performances, when they could go to their local non-league
club, and see a better game.
And the biggest mugs of all.............sky subscribers,
for fuelling this dross, I know if you dont like it! dont
watch it, so I dont, I still think it,s gonna crash, and
the sooner the better.
Footballs a great game, but better played by amatuers
who,s only ambition is to play for sport, not money.

We have it worse up here, though. As well as the mugs who subscribe to SkySports, a bunch of Irish broadcasters have been looking for a golden egg a day from the footy fans. Fortunately, they're never going to get the demand.

The clubs are almost as bad, though. One lot up here were saved from going out of business due in no small part to the fans chipping in. Now the club has increased ticket prices by a third and is complaining because gates have fallen. WTF do they expect?

Yes agreed the champions league is a ?gravy train? for all the rich clubs from all of the big Euro Nations, England, Italy, France, Germany, Spain and erm Scotland, they really cannot lose cos if they do there is always the consolation prize of the Uefa Cup, they have devalued both of these competitions in their quest for viewing figures and money, just like life it is a case of the have?s and the have not?s, the rich getting richer and the poor well they can go and fuck themselves.
Probably in the next couple of years Sky will start squeezing the Premier League over cash because no other broadcaster can pay those crazy fees, and the ?big? foreign stars will just up sticks and move to pastures greener, that is the most annoying thing about these footballers every fucking one is just a fucking money mercenary.

I have no problem with the top quality foreign players who come to this country as they add a star factor, attract paying customers and improve the overall standard of the game.

It's the players who are brought in not because they are better than there British counterpart but because they are cheaper than homegrown talent that gets to me.

I have loved football all my life, but like you I am getting sick of it.

I DO subscribe to Sky, because I refuse to pay 20 pounds or more
to go to each match on the off chance it is a decent game.

For my sky subscription I can choose from a whole range of matches,
and if a game is crap (like Man U v Arsenal last week) I can go and do
something else.

In the UK we are going like US football. We will have about 10 'super'
clubs (Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newc U and maybe if they
can get their acts together Man C, Spurs, Everton, Villa, Middlesboro or
even Leeds ?).

We will get a smaller premier league, a premier league 2, and the rest will
go regional. The small clubs will be minnows feeding off these big clubs.

Mind you, I would LOVE to see Sky lose the premiership football.

At the moment you have to subscribe to all the other crap channels
BEFORE you can subscribe to the football, which must be some sort
of restrictive practice.

Was a time a football club was part of your community, and you didn't mind the cold and the rain and the greasy pie because the club represented you, and you wanted to cheer it on.

Now, they might as well just steal your credit card and be done with it.
