A favourite past time Downunder in the last decade has been Councils being sued by people stumbling over cracks in footpaths.As they were all settled out of court promptly word spread and every man & his dog was doing it-SCUM

Sadly PLI has far more reaching effects than just these minor personal irritations

Seems premiums have skyrocketed to such an extent businesses & community groups are saying enough and closing shop

Reminds me of a very funny film shot to catch accident fakers in NY. A staged bus accident and within seconds dozens of pedestrians scrambling on board.
