A mate has called me tonight to say they have a call on their phone bill for ?53 to 09062690373 - is there any way of finding out what the number is for? It just says Premium rate on the phone bill and calling it just gives a fax / modem tone

Sounds like your friend has had his/her connection secretly hijacked

Probably opened an email attachment thought nothing of it and was immediately infected by malware/dialer
