Our embedded journalists out there probably can't mention it too much. Collateral damage, the military would call it. If it's hearts and minds we're trying to win (and I'm not convinced the US is singing from that hymn sheet), we're going about it very badly.

You read a lot about how worried the families of the soldiers are. I think if it worries a man's mother for him to be in the army he should be discharged and not allowed to rejoin. Never mind what he thinks about it.

Well obviously but that's the implication behind all the news stories reporting the families' reactions.

Gotta agree with you on this Mags.
Collateral damage from the first Gulf war left 1,000,000 dead.
That was the figure given by AP in the West.
The Muslim press put it around the 1,500,000 mark.
That does NOT include those killed directly in conflict but mainly thru economic sanctions and bi-products of.
I ask you, if 1,000,000 UK or US citizens/subjects died in such a way, there would be a fucking thirld world war over it.
Look what happened as a result of 9/11.
The invasion and tits being bombed off of Afghanistan & Iraq.
Don't forget that the Afghanistan incident allowed the US to finally lay an oil/gas pipeline from the Caspian Sea outwards.
Roughly 800 billion barrels of it to be raped.
The current combined US & Euro Oil is in the region of 160 billion barrels.
The projected value of the 800billion is in the region of $5 trillion if we use the current prices as a guide.
Now go do the math.
You may be curious to know that the company that holds the drilling rights is none-other than....HALLIBURTON and it's subsiduaries, Brown & Root run by Bush & Cheney.
So to all the pricks that say "It's not about the oil"...you thick as pigshit, retarded morons. Get a fucking education you chavlifes.
I'm personally sick of hearing about US/UK deaths.
Why?
Simple; if you are bitching about "going to war" or as the US put it, "Layin' the smack down on" or "Openin' a can of whoop ass", then expect to find an armed enemy.
Everyone is fucking freaking out and saying 3 soldiers got killed.
WELL THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS IN A FUCKING WAR.
THIS ISN'T SCOOBY DOO MOTHERFUCKERS?
You have a 50/50 chance of getting killed but you already know that when you sign up!
To anyone that bitches the soundbite, "Yeah but Saddam killed his own people" WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU CARE!!!???
Unless you was out there protesting or lobbying to your local MP or Elected representative, shut the fuck up!
It's you who will bitch about the sudden influx of Iraqi asylum seekers!
If you was so concerned about dictators killing people, then why the fuck aren't you bitching about Rwanda, Algeria, Albania, Angola, Indonesia, Somalia, Haiti, Bosnia, Nigeria, Russia, China you fucking stupid whinging soudbite bitches.
