Sounds like the perfect candidate then

Used to be a time when the Media was actually interested in reporting the sport because thats what the public wanted to read about

Now it seems they're just looking for friction between players & management
because we the public are nothing but voyeurs more interested in the personal that the sport

Summed up with these ridiculous ON TOUR DIARIES

Wouldn't matter who they appointed to advise on media relations
you can expect if the Lions Lose someone will be BLAMED bigtime

cheers

I think one of the reasons why the media are losing interest is that players are all so dead pan in there interviews and nobody really says much worth reporting any more.

Lets face it most sportsman are well groomed by their clubs or management companies when it comes to interviews so as they don't say anything controversial or that will affect there earning potential via endorsements or sponsorships.

Alan Shearer was a perfect example. He could give a post or pre match interview and waffle on for 2 or 3 mins without saying fuck all.

"It was a game of 2 halves" etc etc blah blah fucking blah.

The problem is when they do make a quote worth something then the media are all over it so to a certain extent you can't blame the players.
