Newcastle United: their fate

Not doing too well are they, the 'Toon' Army.

10 points off an European place..... 8 points off the relegation zone.

One wonders which they will most likely end up in.

I really hope it's the latter. Arrogant twat Shepherd needs to learn a thing or too. Hope they get stuffed in their FA cup draw.

Up the Boro!!!

They were right to replace Bobby Robson as their manager as he was taking them nowhere.

However it's usually a good idea to get a better manger in than the one you just sacked.

Instead they got Graeme Souness.

They deserve everything they get in my book.

Things may get worse as well. The transfer window is around the corner and any Newcastle fan should tremble with fear as his buying and selling record is shocking.

Unlikely to happen, but I'd love to see Newcastle get relegated, if only to see the look on that fat wanker of a chairman's face.

His comments the other day about not giving a shit about the 'little clubs' were a disgrace.

How quickly that fat fucker forgets; little more than 10 years ago Newcastle were playing to crowds of 15,000 and were nearly relegated to Div Three until Keegan stepped in and saved them.

And no doubt all the 52,000 loyal geordies ('best fans in the world' blah de fucking blah) will claim they never missed a game in all that time.

Not all bad though, my club - Ipswich - managed to get 6million quid for the defensive blunder machine that is Titus Shambles!

I don't understand, when you hear these football commentators on tv talking about the big 5 or 6 clubs in the premiership and they always mention Newcastle, why? can't remember when Newcastle won anything worth mentioning 1992,93 season they finished 3rd there best position in the top league since 1927.

That artical is spot on, a case of The ultimate triumph of finance over football.

I am looking forward to the 200th Merseyside derby, come on the toffees.

Likewise I have been a Liverpool fan since the early 70's and the 1st game of football that I can ever remember was the 74 Cup Final when Liverpool beat Newcastle.

My mums from Kirby as well which helps.

Eduardo are you for or against the ground share idea, myself I am against it, I have been going to Goodison park for years, its ok these presenters on Match of the Day saying its a good Idea, well I prefer a ground for Everton and one for Liverpool. They don't go to every Home game and away so they should keep quite and let the fans decide.

Totally against it.

We have our patch and you have yours. What would happen with the financing of the new ground? It's well known that Everton have a debt although a cash injection appears just round the corner.

I'm sure Evertonians would cringe at the thought of Liverpool building the ground with our money and then Everton paying a yearly rent. That would make us the landlords and yourselves the tennants and thats never going to work and dare I suggest that Kenwright would be in a lot of trouble with the blue noses if he ever ventured down that road.

Even if a stadium was split with the cost 50/50 then there's still other things to consider like the state of the pitch, ticketing, offices etc.

People go on about groundsharing to me and I say to them show me a ground share that really works. The San Siro doesn't, nor does the Stadio Olympico. One might exist. I just can't think of one.

We are talking about 2 big clubs here and both can build and sustain there own grounds.

Well thats my opinion anyway.

So you going Saturday then?
