Pearl Necklace

Saw an old Shooting Stars on BBC 2 last night (Reeves and
Mortimer).
One of the questions Mortimer asked Ulrike was 'When
would it be correct for a man to give a lady a pearl necklace'
From the smirk on his face, and the titter that went round the
audience I guessed it had a hidden sexual meaning, but Ulrike
seemed unaware and tried to answer correctly.
Seems it does have a sexual meaning, coming over a girls
tits and upper chest (looks like a pearl necklace).
Any other examples on TV of people hiding sexual meanings in
seemingly innocent phrases (or in songs) ?

I know that years ago Saturday Night Live (Belushi, Ackroyd,
Chase etc), on US TV was heavily censored and they tried to
slip sexual things in.
Once a newsreader on their show talked about a "golden shower"
to get one over on the censor.
Also the Goons in the late 50s on BBC radio had a character called
Hugh Jampton (huge hampton - hampton wick - prick)
The hospital in the Carry On films was often called Long Hampton
hospital as well.

Maybe Paul McCartney was singing about a penis
when he wrote Hey Jude. See the words below:
Hey jude, don?t make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better.
Hey jude, don?t be afraid.
You were made to go out and get her.
The minute you let her under your skin,
Then you begin to make it better.
And anytime you feel the pain, hey jude, refrain,
Don?t carry the world upon your shoulders.
For well you know that it?s a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder.
Hey jude, don?t let me down.
You have found her, now go and get her.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better.
So let it out and let it in, hey jude, begin,
You?re waiting for someone to perform with.
And don?t you know that it?s just you, hey jude, you?ll do,
The movement you need is on your shoulder.
Hey jude, don?t make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her under your skin,
Then you?ll begin to make it
Better better better better better better, oh.
Na na na na na ,na na na, hey jude...

Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In - Judy Carne in mid 'sock-it-to-me' gets a wig ripped off her head to reveal a bald wig underneath - 'First time I've been bald on TV.' she says. Apparently a TV executive was wathching this with his teenage kids and didn't understand why they were laughing.

The BBC2 "comedy" series "Fist of Fun" from the mid-nineties - title sounded like a straight crib from a "specialist" porn video.
