COLUMBUS, Ohio ? A gunman charged onstage at a packed nightclub and opened fire on the band and the crowd, killing top heavy metal guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, and three other people before a police officer shot him to death,
Perhaps a name change to contingency plan. Guess he went out the way he wanted to, Holding his Guitar.

See Ace's post on the metal guitarist. Damageplan was the name of the group the guy played for.

Thanks Caractacus. I had read Ace's post but he didn't mention the name of the group. I hadn't read on so I hadn't seen Illinois Blue's post which does name it.

They've yet to connect the gunman with a motive. Save for the ominous "24 years to the day since John Lennon was shot dead."
