A wise old moderator (or Woodgnome) once put it succinctly:

Please do not feed the trolls.

I know it's tempting to vent some anger at these people, but it does just encourage them. We tend to be a courteous bunch, and try to answer any queries from people, but the trolls just use this for their follow-up questions which then cause annoyance and offence. There are two in particular bothering the ladies next door---one old faithful, and a newby. Ignore the buggers if you can (not easy, I know).
