I've always seen them as being little more than drug dispensing outlets
Seems I might have been right

whilst having no love for the 'doctor arrogance syndrome' this article is utter tosh, one sided and totally biased.
if you read a bit further in the site you come across total shite and pseudo science, quote :-
'The Quantum-5 Kit features five world-class products which contain every nutrient essential for optimal health, including broad spectrum, ?beyond organic? vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, antioxidants, enzymes, immune boosters and other phytonutrients. All raw materials are selected from premier quality, ?once living? sources which contain a ?body of light.? The Quantum-5 Kit goes far beyond the old system of inorganic minerals and isolated vitamins. The Quantum-5 Kit is the ideal system to maintain an alkaline body pH, the key to great health and long life.'
bollocks, lets use some big science sounding words and pass it off as gospel
the above is just one of loads of crap that guess what, cost loads of money, over $200 for this one alone.
cynical marketing playing on people health fears, lets rubbish the medical profession and then some poor sods will splash all their cash with us and make us rich
wankers

Personally I found the Historical facts quite interesting
I agree it went way to far in showing Doctors in the worst possible light
ie "waiting for patients to get sick before prescribing drugs"
I feel sorry for Doctors today because while their trained to see 4 patients every hour(In Australia) the reality in a practice is more like 10/15 patients every Hour
Hence the over reliance on the quick fix prescription
A catch 22 if ever there was one
No I won't be buying any of the wonder supplements

I agree,no man made supplement can substitute for a diet made of organically grown fruit & vegetables.
Its no mistake that most miraculous Drugs come from Plants

Yes it follows the typical formula of such products. That Harvey Diamond has made a small fortune out of his Health Books & Supplements can't be disputed.
The only thing that makes him stand out isn't what he's saying but what he's living with...the effects of Agent Orange...has been for 17 years since being diagnosed
Its anybodies guess wether its his health regimen, supplements or a combination of both that have kept it at bay for so long
Its definitely the hook that has snagged so many willing customers to part with their money
cheers
