While I'll admit its hard to compare greats with greats there is always someone that you can't resist

Personally I can't resist comedy

Henceforth its Gene Wilder & the underated saturday night live Gilda Radner

Superb choice Deuce, so sad when she passed away, wasn't she actually a professional dancer or something before she got married to Gene? they were great together in Haunted honeymoon.
Gene is the great thing about Charlie & the chocolate factory, and him only, the ony reason I love the film so much, let's hope the Burton remake is good eh?

Actresses I'd have to go for Heather Graham, she can't act for toffee, but she makes me smile. other than her Berverly D'Angelo in the first 2 vacation movies especially the shower scene.

Actors De Niro and Pacino in there early days, Taxi Driver, Scarface, Godfather 1 & 2, and later on with De Niro in Goodfellas
Recently tho Paddy Considine shone in "Dead mans shoes" definitley a British actor to watch out for, if you haven't seen this film Deuce, let me know, I'll send you one, it's unmissable

Gene was the film....one of the most under rated comedians ever

I don't anymore than the usual for Gilda

Nice Tits x 2...I'm yet to see a heather graham film so I reserve my judgement...chevy chase making it with beverley doesn't make her look her best but then it was designed for Laughter

2 of the immortals although the Richard '"are you talking to me" has been done to death probably resulting in a backlash to him

Thanks for the tip of Paddy..I'll pass on the freeview as I have so many other things on the go but thankyou for your generosity

Arnold Schwarzernazi.

Actually, I quite like Chevy Chase in his old really funny days. Fletch ruled.

Tom Cruise is a pretty good actor.....cue endless succession of nasty jibes filled with needless swearing....

Of the 1980's, Mickey Rourke was excellent. Of the 1990s to present, I think Johnny Depp is the best there is
On the females, I have always liked Meryl Streep, but apart from her, no-one really grabs me

Pacino for me - his awesome performance in the brilliant Angels in America lifts scenery-chewing into high art.

From the women, Nicole Kidman has the rare trick of making films I normally wouldn't care for watchable (that load of old rope The Others for example).

But it all rests on the material: Clooney wastes his notable presence on mostly light fluff, while the previously useless Sandler hits a blinder with Punch-Drunk Love etc.
