Never heard of the term until I saw the BBCs Horizon program last night

Only one course of action can solve both global dimming & its cousin global warming...stop burning fossil fuels to create energy or at the very least NO EMISSIONS into the atmosphere

I'm just thankful that in a 50/100 years I won't be around to see the inevitable inferno or iceage

Yes, it's good to know we can destroy the environment and leave future generations to sort them out ... but in reality I don't care, because I'll not be here. But in the short term Global Dimming is probably due to chavs - they're pretty dim at the best of times, with the iintelligence of an 11w bulb if they're lucky - some outstanding chavs can reach 20w in short bursts, but fade fast like a shooting star.

Your getting it mixed up with that other major problem

Spearheaded by mindless Reality TV Shows for all those who didn't get a decent education

In this case its not the reduction of sun hitting the earth but the lightbulb in the brain exploding
