I've been getting "File not found", which is the same error as yours but I'm just getting that and no other text whatsoever.
Well, it is beta

I used the standard version a few days ago. Everything was OK until I tried to clean then the connection kept on failing.

Like everything free,too many users
Luckily there are other alternatives which is how I came about visiting the trend micro page in the first place.trying to see if the false positive java/AVG
Quite a few different perspectives on which is the best virus scanner(i wasn't aware there were so many) and firewall here
cheers

I only posted the thread for the detailed feedback info
Doesn't make much differnece to me if the author comes across as a pretentious gangster or a well educated toff as long as its readable

The new Beta version gives me all sorts of problems, so I stick to the original.

Very often busy server, the beta version is quicker if you can get on it, but seems to re-load the pattern engine every time you visit, which is strange because it should be pre stored in your cache.

Sounds like a double bladed sword....to save time you might be wasting time
to use it
Thats what I figured so I just the ran the other which worked no problems
All I was after was a decent virus scanner to prove AVG picking up java/byte verify while no alerting me to the initial intrusion was a false positive
This comment sums it up
AVG is no more useful than a wet tissue. Seriously, I'm cleaning all manner of crap out of systems that are "protected" by it. Avast! is a much better alternative for those too cheap to pay.

So did you actually have/find Javabyte verify Deuce. AVG missed it a couple of times for me but I eventually cleaned it out. I'm not sure whether it is a virus.
