Italian fans seem to get off with anything. During the Scotland game a few weeks back, rival Italian fans started belting the crap out of one another, then tore into the police.
As one Scots fan put it, the Tartan Army were being searched for coins before the game, yet those vicious buggers were allowed in with sticks and chains. And what possible excuse can there be for letting people take flares into the ground.
How long before a player or official is killed by these maniacs? And if UK fans were responsible for a tenth of their Italian counterparts, there'd be demands for the national teams to be punished.
