Sometimes its just best to look & don't download ;-)

No mart....medium security with firewall set to stealth

Running spybots immunize & spyblaster

What i find intersting is that Adaware detects all these minimal threats but the above 2 programs deem them not worthy of stopping

The debate seems to be wether something is adware or spyware?

One little known fact is that each time you update your Spyware Software its adds & REMOVES spyware & malware threats

If your running spybot or spyblaster just check and see how many unchecked items there are.I wouldn't tamper with spybot as it warns against removing the advertising but spyblasters I would

Only joking Deuce. I agree with you about what constitutes a real threat. I always assume that most of the things that sneak in aren't malicious and can't do any harm if your firewall stops them phoning home.
As for cookies, they'll always be with us.

I wasn't assuming you meant bareback as in

Hell of a job getting into that Horse outfit but worth the trouble ;-)

Cookies seem to be the what the big boys(pay programs) find

Just run the trial version of

Adaware,Spybot & CW Shredder are good enough for me
Anybody that tracks my surfing can more than easily do it from the ISP server no matter what I do this end so its rather pointless being paranoid

Its when the amount of spyware/malware starts slowing down the connection that I see red
