I think someone on here said they had problems accessing yahoo mail before?

I've tried the 'backdoor' approach, going thru Yahoo games...no joy.

Checked the settings too.

Anyone else getting crap performance from Yahoo mail or is it just me?

hopefully things are not bad for me.

Incidentally, just cos I can't get my scanner working, I don't think yahoo mail not working is simply because 'my pc is crap' or anything, I've used worse pc's than this.

Can't open any yahoo sites thru google when I tried a couple of minutes ago...

I use POP3 and access directly from PC at home using Outlook (most email software will also do the job).

I frequently find the connection times-out, so something is up, but at least it is less hassle for me as I don;t have to log onto their website.

Was me

Just checked it and it took less than 20 seconds to get in which is suprising given school holidays have just kicked off downunder

Either way its most likely a volume thing, yahoo gliche or a stale page in your computers cache

I used to use to access hotmail with a high degree of success when yahoo went awol...can be slow but usually gets there...again it depends on the volume of traffic at the time

cheers
