Have to admit to liking Macarthur Park, but the rest of that list is on a loop on Hell FM. I'd forgotten the name of that awful woman who did I've Never Been To Me. And as for Afternoon Delight . . . .

What! MacArthur park is a masterpiece. Seasons in the sun is also well loved.
However I can reel off a few hundred truly wank tunes starting with Joe Dolce, Westlife, Take That, The Darkness the list is endless!

"Shaddupa your face" ...comedy and music should never be mixed together
with the possible exception being "bawdy ballads"
I think the real reason these tunes irk so much is that others found them good enough to make them HITS
No accounting for taste

I actually turn the radio off if they come on, abitw is fine if heard in context on the album (as theres 3 parts)

I've heard some cunt take Roberta Flaks' The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face ' and used it as a backing to his shit rap version. Talk about a moustach on the Mona Lisa !

Oh, and anything by Eva Cassidy - I know she's dead, but that's the only reason most people (including myself) have ever heard of her. All of her songs were sentimental, mushy trash.
