crap game, Liverpool soaked up Chelsea pressure with 5 man midfield. World class save from Cech, 3 glaring misses, 0-0 was fair, but as a blue, I was disappointed.........hugely

I am a die hard red and a major critic of the modern game. It was a great result for Liverpool but shite to watch.
Not quite as boring as watching Peter Ebdon though.

It was always going to be a dour struggle given the previous 3 Chelsea wins over Liverpool had been goal famines in normal time,1-0 1-0,1-1
As good as Liverpools defence was the misses by Chelsea were mind blowing...Drogba & Lampard on the edge of the 6 yard box...one misses everything and the other skies it over(Again)...professional footballers shouldn't miss these gilt edged chances
Still,if Chelsea get the likes of Duff & Robben to break that LIverpool defence down they should progress past Liverpool
but god help either side against AC Milan
They standout as the best team by a mile IMHO
If you don't take your chances against them say goodnight
cheers

have to agree, i can't see past AC winning the final, no matter who goes through between Chelsea and Liverpool.

I don't agree. I don't believe Milan are as good as they are being made out to be.
A good side yes. A very good side. Probably. But a great side. Definitely not.
They struggled against an average PSV side and can count themselves lucky to have a 2 goal advantage.
Remember Milan are neck and neck in the Italian Championship with Juventus and most Italians will tell you that Juventus are at least Milans equal and they got dumped by Liverpool.
If Chelsea get through then I'd have a punt on them turning over Milan and if Liverpool get through then I reckon we'd have a decent shot at it also.

I have to say that whilst watching some of last nights drivel that I began to lose the will to live.
Come back Steady Eddie, Doug Mountjoy as all is forgiven.
I'd rather have seen one of your Scotsman win it Caractus than Ebdon. Hopefully Stevens will now but I suspect Ebdon will be strong for him mentally.

I'm looking forward to one of his lovely, sportsmanlike rants.
