Tonys' Crime 'Crackdown'

I read in the paper that Tony Blair is gunna crack down on hooligans and street thugs etc.
Well, I dont know if things are any different in Britain than down here in Oz, but whenever they announce a ' crackdown ' it usually means all the coppers go on holiday and the courts give out free overseas trips to cunts who bash 90 year olds.
My advice - stay inside and lock the doors until the crackdown on crime is over.

..... hasn't the Rt Hon Anthony Charles Lynton BLair ( public school and Oxford educated, but hey, I bet he's still a socialist) had the past 8 years to get "tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime"?
How many old grannies have been mugged, how many houses have been burgled by filthy druggy scum, who get defended by rich lawyers ( paid for by us working idiots) and sod all get done about it.
Fat bastard Prescott gets some hassle and all of a sudden its a Govt priority.
And Tony is supporting a ban on hoddies and base ball caps in a shopping centre...... SHURELY isn't this discrimination on grounds of dress???? A good human rights complaint there. OH, and isn't Tone married to the ugly Cherry, a human 'rights' barrister, making a bomb defending human 'rights'. OH and didn't Tone's government bring in that legislation.....?
Yours, pissed off already on a Sunday,
Sid

There's no Human Rights issues on imposing minimum standards of dress, unless it is specifically being used to target ethnic/religious groups. I suppose you could argue that chavs are an etnic group ... but in reality the police should just go out with batons on a weekend and give them what they deserve.

Nice to see a possible law that young offender criminals are forced to wear uniforms whilst carrying out community service orders, and straight away, Rights group, LIBERTY are screaming foul saying the dedregation and the naming and shaming will lead to offeneders re-offending.
I am all for the uniforms, and it would be a nice touch if Joe Public were given rotting fruit to throw at these louts. That would make them think twice about re-offending. The shame might keep them indoors instead of roaming the streets

There's a ' civil liberties ' wanker in Perth who has made a name for himself defending the sort of turds you wouldn't piss on if they were on fire. He doesn't defend half-decent people who run off the rails just once. No, he saves his energy for habitual kiddie bashers and serial violent rapists who bury women alive etc.
Recently he tried for position of mayor and was seen on TV trying to hard out leaflettes asking residents for their vote. People were crossing the street to avoid him. He still claims he has " massive support for his efforts. "

Yes, the uniform is a good idea.
Witches, left-handers, people with 'the devil in them' etc are a right menace round our way, honest.
(btw - some are calling for a dayglo uniform, just to rub it in that little further).

Maybe pubkishing their detailss on posters would also be a good idea and introducing a "Three Strikes and You're Out" regime like California.
