I was put off wanting to see it after I saw an excerpt with Marvin - he didn't look or sound right and some dwarf was trying to make out he was the new John Gielgud cos he could get inside a metal case foe 9 hours a day luvvies, well it was absolutely hell !!!

I too have avoided it. I will wait for the DVD and watch at leisure. Don't know anyone else whi has seen it. And yes Marvin looks crap.

i've seen it, it's not a classic by any means but it's ok, not nearly as bad as made out. Doesn't need to be seen in the cinema, wait for the DVD. Marvin looks crap but his mannerisms are pretty amusing

saw it the other night at cinema. Not bad, not fantastic.
There's alot of shite out there, but Hitch-Hickers is a good all-rounder!
You could wait for dvd but there are some good bigscreen effects. And if I see another film with a china mans head moving on a pirate dvd its gets launched....

I refuse to watch this pile of shit.
I've seen enough and have walked out.
Ford Prefect....
Anyway, I saw the old BBC series box set in Asda for ?15.
I know where my loyalty lies.
