Well Done the Hammers

I've been watching their progress all year for an english mate in OZ(weekly reports in exchange for beer......yum yum ;-)

The one thing I've come to understand is that West Ham Fans are best described as Brazilian/Full of it.

The Ham have beaten the best in the championship but somehow lost to the worst which might explain such stupid opinions that this is the worst team ever.

I'd bet those SEERS will be keeping a low profile now

I will finish with

If you are truly a supporter of a club you follow them through the good & the bad

We had an Aussie Rules Football side in Australia called Woodville who since their inception in 1964 were perennial losers, but yet their supporters were there supporting them win, lose or draw

Once your supporters turn on you when your still in contention for promotion you know they have unrealistic expectations

We should have stuffed them with more than 1-0 but still, we're back were we belong.
Hopefully we'll stay there.

Problem with West Ham is that we keep selling our top players.
We breed them and then sell them.

No doubt they will do the usual, buy nobody and go down faster than Jenna Jameson! A great pity as they have a really good fan base who have put up with skinflint chairmen for at leat 30 years.

Maybe but remember most of those players that have moved on were playing when the club got relegated.

The EPL is a viscious circle in that if you don't qualify for Europe your always going to be behind the eightball financially and as such will lose talent to chose cherry picking from above.

I still find it bizarre that Players can shift clubs mid-season in the same league. How best to destroy a rival than buy their star players

The shit hit the fan for West Ham when they missed out on qualification when they finished 5th or 6th not that long ago IMHO.Totally deflated them and the rest is history

I'll agree if the board takes the 20 million bonus and retires debt as opposed to signing some quality players they'll go straight back down.
