well the best of's been done with "Echoes" and can't be the definitive best of in mine (& I'm sure many other) fans opinions, the official Pulse dvd still hasn't been released, it was supposed to be out next month, but has now been put back till October, but is promising to be the ultimate live DVD, a 2 disc set, and according to all the well respected Floyd websites there is no truth to the rumour Roger Waters will be joining them on any project,
So I guess Live 8 or a new album & tour, I'm hoping for the later

A new tour and album or Live 8 is hardly astounding though. Barrett being straight enough to collaborate on some new songs would qualify....

Maybe it's "time we call it a day", which would be a shame after all the legal battles with Roger, just to release 2 new albums worth of studio material.
A new album and tour not astounding Ned? did you see any of the 1994 gigs? a collaboration with Syd (Bless him) would never happen, he was offered silly money years ago to record "anything" in the studio, his family politely declined on his behalf, according to the great recent Q mag special, he broke with tradition (as apparently anything reminding him of his past upsets him for weeks) and started to watch the Omnibus documentary about him a few years back, got up halfway through and said it was "to loud" and went back to his painting, I'm sure "Ye olde" wherever he is will join in with some titbits?
