Tyson retires

About time as well. Should never have returned after his beatings from Holyfield and Lewis. Fighting journeymen like Danny Williams and last nights Irish fella is for desperate ex-champs and Tyson did fall into that catagory.
In his prime before Don King stuck his nose in, he was brilliant, and under Kevin Rooney (his no-nonsense trainer) seemed to curb his aggresion in the ring. King let him do whatever he wanted and he paid the price. Now hes skint, where is King? Nowhere.

He retired on his stool at the end of the sixth round I think. Apparently he headbutted the Irishman as well lol. Tyson was brilliant in his day but never the same when he returned to the ring after his prison stint.

I think he was on the down slope before he went to prison myself. He had that style that was to just bash and crash right through his opponents and I said when he was at his peak that because of this style then he wouldn't be around for ages. His style relied on youth.

Ace, I see where you are coming from with Don King but Tyson was the source of his own downfall. His fault and no one elses.
