Kidmans a Yank
Crowes a Kiwi

Aussies getting shat on seems to be the flavor of the month
Our once proud Aussie Football team(we beat england 3-1..remember)
just proved their credentials for the November Wordl Cup Qualifiers are Dead
3 games...3 losses....5 goals scored 10 conceded...Another 4 years...AAAHHH!!!!!!
Its quite good the way we're leading your cricketers into a false sense of security,INNIT

I know we've had this conversation before mate but I certainly think most of the cricketing world is looking for Australia to be taken off their lofty perch.
At my local cricket club we have quite a ethnic mix of people from Kiwis, Pakistanis, Indians, Boks and all are united in that they want to see the Aussies lose.
Some of it could be resentment and some of it is undoubtedly jealousy but I think most people are fed up with Australians telling people how good they are (the truth might hurt with the latter as well).
If our cricket team can't get you running scared then the ghosts of Durham Castle will.
Not as bad as Bangladesh. They tried to kill it.

Well, I'm a bloody Aussie and I'm embarrassed at how we've become so fucking up ourselves over the past few years. I'm glad we're losing.
Its also amusing to see how many 'fans' drop their heros like a piece of dog shit the second they stop winning. I pine for the old days when we could beat the best but just shake hands afterwards and not go on about it.
Dont you wish you were as humble as me ?!

Diplodocus! You must never be a gambler- You chose the Belgium girl to win Wimbledon and woe betide, within no time she was out.Now England are on the verge of losing to the Aussies,in Durham.

I'm tired of seeing the Aussies beat all & sundry but even sicker of the pathetic opposition that calls itself PROFESSIONAL when its clearly not
Its been just over a decade now since their dominance(apart from India in India)started and yet none of the others ever cottoned on to the reason for the success was the Cricket Academy. Most professional teams try and duplicate who ever is at the top of the pile.Common sense I would have thought
Maybe the governing body should strat giving financial aid to the lesser countries so they might produce some decent competitive talent
As for those Ghosts stories, must have been a slow news day

The ghost stories didn't even make the papers here. It was just a bit of fun from my part to see if I could get a bite from you and it worked although according to Darren Lehman on Sky, Shane Watson was scared shitless.
Cricket Academies are good and Australia got in first and they do definitely help but I don't subscribe to the fact that they are the dogs bollocks. Players like McGrath, Warne, Mark Waugh etc would have made it anyway because of their class and that's where your strength has been in these type of players. They are champions and they can't be made. The 2nd tier of players behind improve for the experience but champions are champions.
Also remember that Academies run along the same lines as the Australian one cost a small fortune to run and you are very lucky that you have excellent funding from your TAB and lottery. We don't have here and lets be honest all countries except Australia don't either.
You have a point on professionalism as the state of Test cricket generally isn't good. England have changed theirs and got the structure right (or better) and hence the upturn in fortunes.
There's still a way to go but things are looking up.

my curse strikes again
poor performance, started when we chose to field in red hot sunshine then chase under lights, madness
the game was over after 6 overs, with three wickets tumbling for sod all, and I missed them due to being stuck in the beer queue.
hangover still bad, off to bed
