Good causes, but revels in his role as a new 'Messiah'............HUGE ego trip from where I'm watching.

Leave him alone, he with Bono are possibly the chosen few i.e hassle these twats in charge to actually do something for the better.

It was funny that at the end of the Live Aid programme the other week, when variuous fellow musicians were asked what they thought of Geldof, most said, "He's a cunt."

But as Goggs Broon said this week, he's also making it impossible for politicians to ignore the plight of Africa.

No saint, certainly, and he'll no doubt vanish into the shadows again for the next few years, but if we want something done, he's the one to annoy people into doing it.

Then I suggest you stop reading papers & watching TV until its all over

Anyone knows the media act like whores(begging for it) and the public act like sheep and take it all in when theres a gig like this on

The mute button is always useful

Getting all your news of the internet is the way to go

You choose what you want to read

Occasionally impartial factual reporting that goes beyond the usual deaths, disasters & celeb news that seems to be what mainstream TV & Radio News is all about

Be more impressed if he hadn't put himself on the bill at two of the gigs.
