Just finished this. Utterly brilliant. It's been out for a while, but well worth a read.
Written by a legal academic called Joel Bakan, it outlines, clearly and dispassionately, how big business really works. The Independent called it, 'Fahrenheit 911 for people who think.' The documentary based on it was good, but the book is by far the best thing I've read on the whole issue of the adverse effect that big business influence has on the world and its governments. Some of the links and facts Bakan highlights, verge on the unbelievable, but it's all meticulously researched and supported by documentary evidence.
Fantastic rant-fuel. Check it out.
